Day 1: Evening departure for overnight
flight to London.
Day 2: Upon arrival, we will transported
to our central London hotel and have a brief orientation.
The remainder of the day will be open and the group can determine
its activities. We will meet for dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3: After breakfast, we will
take a tour of London. We will visit all the major attractions,
including: Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Big Ben, Westminster
Abbey, Kensington Park and Buckingham Palace. Once at Buckingham
Palace we will witness the ceremonial Changing of the Guards.
After our comprehensive city tour, we will go to a local restaurant
for some traditional English fare. After dinner we will have
some free time before returning to the hotel for the night.
Day 4: After breakfast, we will
spend some time in London’s British Museum. It is here
that we find the Rosetta stone, which enabled archaeologists
to translate ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics. After spending
the morning visiting this vast museum, we will go to the world
famous Madame Tussauds wax museum. Next we will go to a local
restaurant for dinner and some free time before we return
to our hotel.
Day 5: After breakfast, we will
take an optional day excursion to Stonehenge or a free day
in London. We will have dinner at a local restaurant. After
dinner we will have free time before returning to the hotel
for the evening.
Day 6: After breakfast, the group
has the option of a day trip to Windsor Castle or a free day
in London. We will have our farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 7: After breakfast we will
check out of our hotel and depart for the airport, to begin
our journey home. |
